Walking your bike down Pier 41 in Red Hook, in need of something cold and sweet?  On 185 Dyke Street, Steve’s Key Lime Pie looks like a surf shop with multi-colored picnic tables outside. It sells the perfect summer treat.  The custard is made with fresh squeezed key limes and is nestled in a simple graham cracker crust. For the adventurous eater, the “Swingle” is a magical popsicle creation: Steve’s key lime pie with a layer of raspberry puree dipped in Belgian dark chocolate–or white chocolate for those who prefer it. It’s the perfect frozen treat for a hot day in the city. Right next to the shop is a quaint park, which overlooks the N.Y Harbor.  There is a pier where you can watch the ferries go by and have a clear view of the Statue of Liberty.
