It was 3 o’clock and my friends and I got a craving for Dim Sum. Some say getting Dim Sum in the afternoon is a gamble because it is when everything is sold out, but, regardless we decided to go. We got on the F train to go to Jing Fong located on 20 Elizabeth St.  Don’t let the downtrodden signage at the entrance stop you. An escalator will leads you into a large, brightly-lit dining room filled with enormous crystal chandeliers. The prices were quite reasonable. For each dim sum order the prices provided were either $3.95 or $4.50 depending on the dish.  When we split the bill, each of us only had to pay eight dollars. My friends and I got the Har Kau (shrimp dumplings), Sticky Rice, Steam Roasted Pork Buns, Pan Fried Shrimp and Chives Dumplings. We enjoyed the Steamed Roasted Pork Buns the most and ended up getting three orders of them. Although it wasn’t the best Dim Sum I’ve ever had, it did the trick I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is craving Dim Sum in a pinch.
